FAQs

Questions? Answers

How much storage do I get with each Basic Email account?

Each Basic Email account’s storage is determined by the capacity of your email client. However, ensure attachments are below 15MB. Note that we retain only 100MB of emails on our server.

Is there a sending limit associated with these email accounts?

No sending limits. Of course, setting them up to spam people will result in them being limited, but hey, that’s obvious (and in our terms and conditions).

Can I set up Basic Email with a site NOT hosted with WPMU DEV?

No, our Basic Email is exclusive to our hosting. However, our Pro Email (IMAP) feature is available to use no matter where you host, plus, you get 50x more storage and advanced features and syncing capabilities.

Can I use Basic Email accounts AND email forwarding on the same site?

There is almost certainly some sort of splitting-the-atom wizardry that will allow this, but we wouldn’t recommend it.
